About Chef Garrett Adair
Starting in restaurants in 1992 (High school), Chef Adair spent 10 years cooking, creating and honing his craft full time in some of Sonoma County's best restaurants - Notably: Sonoma's Michelin star rated - Farmhouse Inn & Restaurant, Forestville, Ca., 101 Main Bistro & Wine Bar, Sonoma County, Monti's Rotisserie & Bar - to name a few.
Chef Adair opened his first Catering company in 2003 - Canape Catering Co. in Sonoma County, becoming well know as an upscale caterer for Wine Country tourism, winemaker dinners, weddings and local executive events.
In 2007 Chef Adair changed the name of his catering co "Canape" - aptly to "Chef Adair - Private Chef services" to focus solely on Napa, Sonoma County & North bay - boutique high end dining experiences for Wine Country epicurean vacationers and local boutique dinner parties.
Since, performing 1000's of boutique-private chef dinner parties and pathing the way for private chef dining as an alternative to traditional dining out.
Garrett went back to school earning his hospitality and culinary arts degree (after 15 years of bootstrapping) from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu school of Culinary arts, graduating on the dean's list.
In 2013, while continuing (Chef Adair-Private Chef Services) Garrett also opened his French American Bistro in Petaluma, Ca. Bistro 100, operating as Executive Chef & Co-Owner. After a few years and establishing the Bistro; it was acquired/sold - late 2016.
Chef Adair turned his full attention back to expanding his private chef & catering services - his true passion, cooking for private parties, events & wine pairings. Bringing his 20+ years of culinary and hospitality experience to your private chef dining experience or catered event.
