About Chef Garrett Adair
A passion for dining experiences.
Born in Southern Ca. 1975 Garrett Moved to Northern California in 1989 as a teenager. Not soon after started working in restaurant in high school 1992,
Garrett Adair spent 10 years cooking, creating and honing his craft full time in some of Sonoma County's best restaurants.
Notably: Sonoma's Michelin star rated - Farmhouse Inn & Restaurant, Forestville, Ca., 101 Main Bistro & Wine Bar, Sonoma County, Monti's Rotisserie & Bar - to name a few.
Chef Adair opened his first Catering company in 2003 - Canape Catering Co. in Sonoma County, becoming well known as an upscale private chef and caterer for executives, Wine Country tourism, winemaker dinners, weddings and local events.
In 2007 Chef Adair changed the name of his catering co "Canape" - aptly to "Chef Adair - Private Chef services" to focus solely on Napa, Sonoma County & North bay - boutique high end dining experiences for Executive dining experiences, Wine Country epicurean vacationers and local boutique dinner parties.
Since, performing 1000's of boutique-private chef dinner parties and pathing the way for private chef dining as an alternative to traditional dining out.
Garrett went back to school earning his hospitality and culinary arts degree (after 15 years of bootstrapping) from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu school of Culinary arts, graduating on the dean's list.
In 2013, while continuing (Chef Adair-Private Chef Services) Garrett also opened his French American Bistro in Petaluma, Ca. Bistro 100, operating as Executive Chef & Co-Owner. After a few years and establishing the Bistro; it was acquired/sold - late 2016.
Chef Adair turned his full attention back to expanding his private chef & catering services - his true passion, cooking for private parties, events & wine pairings. Bringing his 20+ years of culinary and hospitality experience to your private chef dining experience or catered event.
Growing business: Our team currently performs about 250+ parties annually.
Our business has grown in popularity and to keep up with demand Chef Garrett Adair has hand selected a very talented group of EXPERIENCED Executive Chefs from the Bay Area & Wine Country, Ca. (we now employ 5 Private Party Chefs) that exemplify professionalism, a deep passion for the culinary arts and a true dedication to our field and each other - as a team.
Each chef works directly with Chef Garrett Adair planning each party. Chef Garrett Adair & our Executive Sous Chef/kitchen manager (Umit) prep and oversee each meal and party preparation before it leaves our kitchen. Garrett cannot be at every party, but is very much involved in cooking & food prep in our own commercial kitchen; to ensure the passion, quality, safety and over all deliciousness is met with the standards required from owner Chef Garrett Adair, our team and our clients.
