Garrett Adair's BiographyWine Country native, and member of the Jame Beard Foundation, Chef Garrett Adair has been cooking professionally for over fifteen years and has trained in some of Sonoma County’s top restaurants including Forestville’s Michelin-starred Farmhouse Inn and Sebastopol’s 101 Main Bistro & Wine Bar. From founding his first catering company in 2002 to his latest venture undertaken in 2007 — Chef Adair Catering and Private Chef — Chef Garrett Adair has brought what he calls "American Haute Cuisine" to life for clients in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. He always incorporates local organic and sustainable produce from local farms & gourmet stores hand picking, meat, sustainable fish, poultry and dairy products — all enhanced with his own custom spice blends and wines from nearby wineries. "Farmers bring fresh eggs and vegetables to our kitchen door every day. I've got so much inspiration all around me," says Chef Garrett Adair. "There’s no better place for a chef to be." Chef Garrett Adair has served as a private chef for CEO's and exclusive clients from New York to San Francisco. Food Stars Culinary Entertainment Group has honored Chef Garrett Adair with awards for events in which he appeared with notable chefs Martin Yan and Sara Moulton. Chef Garrett Adair is a firm believer in continuing to hone his craft through hard work and ongoing study. He lives in Sonoma County with his wife and their two daughters.
